Privacy notice

Opportunity Loop is currently a static comparison directory. It does not require an account and does not intentionally collect names, identity documents, financial details or participant profiles.

Local preferences and active presence

Private directory notes, heading-preview preference, Loop NRG and accumulated active time are stored in your own browser using local storage. They are not sent to Opportunity Loop. Active time advances only while the page is visible and recent interaction is detected; interaction contents and typed text are not recorded. Use “Clear private notes & progress” in the directory, or clear browser data, to remove this local history. If browser storage is blocked, changes last only for the current visit. Exported files can include private notes; keep them secure.

Hosting

The hosting provider may process routine request information, such as IP address and browser details, to serve and secure the site.

Advertising readiness

No advertising network is currently active. Dormant ad positions are built into the site but remain hidden and make no advertising requests until an approved publisher account is connected. If advertising is activated, this notice will identify the provider and explain its cookies, device identifiers, measurement, personalisation and consent controls before ads are served where consent is required.

External links

When you visit a listed programme, that third party processes information under its own privacy policy and terms. Review those documents before registering. Some links may later be approved affiliate links, which can allow the programme to attribute a qualifying visit or registration to Opportunity Loop.

Data minimisation

Do not enter personal information into this directory. A future account, reputation or competition feature will require a separate POPIA-aligned notice, consent flow, security controls and retention policy before activation.
